Provides Indigenous cultural heritage research, social impact assessment and community values work for exploration and mining clients. Amanda is a cultural anthropologist and the Director of Fremantle-based Acacia Cultural Heritage Consulting (www.acaciaculturalheritageconsulting.com.au). Amanda specialises in Indigenous cultural heritage assessments and research, Social Impact Assessments and Social Surroundings consultations, cultural landscape and social mapping, community consultations, and mine closure and rehabilitation stakeholder consultations, with a particular focus on renewable energy projects, state and local government developments and resource extraction. For the past 16 years Amanda has been working across Western Australia, particularly in the Pilbara, Gascoyne and Murchison regions, prior to which she has worked extensively with Indigenous communities in the Northern Territory, Sarawak, Malaysia and China.
