About the Role Reporting to the Manager Environment, the Environmental Advisor supports the delivery and continuous improvement of the site Environmental Management System. This is a hands-on role where you will contribute to the development of environmental approvals, environmental monitoring, compliance, rehabilitation and stakeholder engagement activities, ensuring the operation meets its regulatory and sustainability obligations. This role will be based at our clients Western Australian Goldfields Operation, operating on a family-friendly 8:6 FIFO roster from Perth. Key Responsibilities Providing environmental advice for day to day operations, including to meet legal obligations, compliance requirements and inspections. Assisting with preparing environmental approval documents under WA legislation Support conformance with and auditing of ISO14001, Cyanide Code, GISTM, Water and Nature related commitments. Reviewing environment related documents, such as procedures and management plans Reviewing documentation, data trends and reports Assessing and approving Surface Disturbance Permits About You You are a proactive environmental professional with a strong commitment to approvals, compliance, continuous improvement and teamwork. You will bring: A tertiary qualification in environmental science Experience in preparing environmental approval documents Experience in environmental monitoring and compliance Strong data management and reporting skills Ability to engage and influence stakeholders across site A practical, solutions-focused approach Current WA manual "C" Class driver’s licence If you believe that you can bring the passion and drive to contribute to our clients operations, then apply now!
